Fate Stay Night UBW S1 + Zero S1 Blu-ray Boxes
This isn’t so much a review but rather just quickly showing off (and making you jealous, perhaps) of what I recently obtained; the Fate/Zero Blu-Ray box #1 and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works Blu-Ray box #1!
Fate/Zero aired back in 2011/2012 and is an anime adaptation by ufotable of the Fate/Zero light novel. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is an anime series adaptation by ufotable (not to be confused with the movie of the same name) aired 2014/2015 of a visual novel game released back 2004. With ufotable, Yuki Kajiura, Rin Tohsaka and many more things that I like about these two series it was not that difficult to decide to buy them after I had finished watching the broadcast version of Fate/Stay Night.
Fate/Zero BD Box 1
Fate Zero Blu-Ray box 1 includes:
- 5 Blu-Ray discs
- 1 Audio Drama CD
- 1 Soundtrack CD
- Animation Material booklet
Illustrations on the first and last pages of the Animation Material book, with a flip out page to expand the illustration.
Yuki Kajiura is a favorite composer of mine with Fate/Zero and Garden of Sinners being my favorites of her work. I’m a bit let down by the fact Kajiura didn’t/couldn’t do the soundtrack for Fate/Stay Night UBW too.

I just love the coloring they’ve done on the Animation Material book.
It can’t quite be seen in these photos but the surface of the booklet covers are hazy. An interesting change from the Fate/Zero’s flat surface.
Looks cool! 😛
