The japanese have their own unique take on what Maids are all about and have made a whole subculture and following of their own of this phenomenon. @Home Maid Cafe (http://www.cafe-athome.com/) started back on 2004 in Akihabara and definitely knows how to make a Master feel welcome. Read on for more about my visit to @Home Cafe with Shurikn Ibuki!
Here’s continuing with photos from my trip in Japan 2015, this time showing you Akihabara!
I actually didn’t go around Akihabara alone. I met up with Shurikn Ibuki, a fellow blogger who lives in Tokyo. I’ve been following him online for quite some time, so it seemed natural to ask him to meet up at Akihabara and guide me around the constantly changing Akihabara for an evening.
It’s been a while since my last post and the excuse is that I’ve been busy planning and making a trip to Japan last November. Those who follow my personal Google+ will know about this and also the reason behind the trip; My family and I went there to attend a Shinto-style wedding (It was different and very cool). With only 10 days in Japan the schedule was quite hectic and I didn’t have time to do many visits to “anime” places, but I was able to quickly go to Kyoto Animation’s (KyoAni) merchandise shop and Akihabara. Today I’ll show you KyoAni’s shop!
