We received a heavy package one day, though the contents of the package wasn’t meant for us, but the package had lot of post stamps plastered on it and one set was of particular interest to me; Snow Miku was on them!

These post stamps feature the different variations of Snow Miku from the years 2011 to 2013. Most of them are Nendoroid but also illustrations and renders are used. You can read more about them here.

Fittingly, I have non other than Snow Miku herself present them for you!

Here’s continuing with photos from my trip in Japan 2015, this time showing you Akihabara!

I actually didn’t go around Akihabara alone. I met up with Shurikn Ibuki, a fellow blogger who lives in Tokyo. I’ve been following him online for quite some time, so it seemed natural to ask him to meet up at Akihabara and guide me around the constantly changing Akihabara for an evening.

Even though she doesn’t age a day she’s technically 8 years old and fictionally 24 years old. Doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate her birthday anyway. Happy birthday, Miku!

Found some older photos way back from 2012 and thought I’d post them today. I wanted to show Miku in a studio setting, and the condenser microphone and drums I own were great for this.

9th of March is Hatsune Miku day, cause, 3 and 9 can be read as Mi and Ku in Japanese. And I’m not going to argue about that. I’m going to celebrate it instead with some Hatsune Miku figma 2.0 photos!

I took these in December of 2013 as soon as I had received her. One reason I bought her was the new joints that was introduced with her. Obviously another reason was her improved looks and cuteness over the previous figma version. Also knowing she’s a popular character she’d be useful in future figure photos.

Waking up this morning and noticing the first snow this winter outside I knew I had to break out my unopened Snow Miku figma and do a photoshoot. Sadly, it was more ice than actual snow but I still managed to get some snowy looking shots.
