Casual Destroyer Shigure
Do you know what destroyers do for R&R when they’re not busy having battles at sea or getting repaired? Apparently Shigure does some forest photography hiking, and I got to follow her around!

If the weather is nice you might be lucky to spot Holo around the (fictional) farming village of Palsoe, like I did not long ago. Holo is a deity of harvest and… she’s usually not stark naked but it kinda helps not to scare humans when interacting with them. Her usual form is that of a giant wolf, which you can imagine is rather terrifying. She keeps her tail and ears in her human form (though it kinda makes it troublesome at times). While she was kind enough to pose for me I seem to have mostly gotten shots from her front, but I hope you enjoy the photos anyway!
The sun was shining and so was Kousaka Kirino when I took these photos back in April. I’ve been rather busy with editing other photos I’ve taken since then and enjoying the awesome weather we’ve had these last months so I haven’t quite had the time. Anyways, excuses aside, please enjoy!
The last of the cosplay shoots I did together with Balance during Sakura-con 2018 is here. These characters are from an action role-playing game called Final Fantasy XV. And that’s about as much as I know about the game. I know it’s a pretty popular game series, I’ve just never been attracted to J-RPGs in the first place. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy working with these cosplayers. It was a challenging shoot but the shots turned out well and the cosplayers were quite talented!
I’ve said it plenty already but I still want to thank Balance for inviting me to help out during his photoshoots during Sakura-con 2018. I decided to do one post for all the solo cosplay photoshoots we did since I assisted more than actually take photos myself.
Time for something a bit different, a first for Figure.moe, a proper cosplay photoshoot!
Mary Bear and her group managed to create a very nice rendition of the characters from the manga and CG animated anime series Land of the Lustrous and I got to be part of the photoshoot they had with Balance of Reprise Photography.
Hey everyone! Rin, Uzuki and I are all back from Seattle (WA) and we had a blast of a time! Rin and Uzuki got to meet up with Mio and do some sightseeing in Seattle while I was attending the Sakura-con 2018 convention, meeting friends and doing cosplay photoshoots with Balance. I took a total of 1800 photos during this trip so look forward to a post covering the Sakura-con convention and hallway cosplay shots and after that posts of the joint cosplay photoshoots I did with Balance and his clients.
Time for a yet another idol figure! I’m actually not much of an idol fan, but there is something about the designs of idols in anime/manga, or in this case, voice generating software that still makes their figures rather attractive. Here we have Luka Megurine (made by Stronger) sitting on a cherry blossom tree while wearing a gorgeous kimono.
It’s this time of the year again; Merry Christmas everyone!
Here we see Ranko living up to the Christmas spirit by offering this fawn some food in middle of the winter.
Spring has come and gone. Things around us constantly change, sometimes when we’re not ready for it, so we tend to sit back and contemplate about what has happened and what is going to come. And if there’s someone who looks like she’s always thinking about stuff it’s my figure of Yukino Yukinoshita by Kotobukia.
But metaphors and wise words aside, the real reason I choose to have a photoshoot with Yukino in spring is because I realized I haven’t done a photoshoot with her until now, so it was about time. Maybe that’s why she’s been looking so displeased all this time.
